STP, WWE coming to the Air Canada Centre
The Air Canada Centre in Toronto is home to more than the Toronto Maple Leafs in the coming weeks, but all kinds of entertainment!
Following an Aug. 25 performance by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers with Crosby, Stills and Nash, the stadium will also be home to the Stone Temple Pilots, who are touring in support of their first new album in nearly a decade. The self-titled album was released in May 2010, and features songs like “Between the Lines,” “Take a Load Off” and “Cinnamon.” They’ll also be joined by special guest Cage the Elephant.
In September, the Air Canada Centre is also home to the American Idols Live Tour on Sept. 9; WWE on Sept. 10 and Roger Waters–The Wall Live on Sept. 15, 16 and 18.
The Wall Live tour features Pink Floyd’s popular 1979 album The Wall, which was written by then-frontman Roger Waters. The concert features more than just amazing music, there’s also an inflatable wall that gets knocked down as the concert progresses. Too cool!
